hello Dear Friends,

i am working on a wireless transmission project and i want to use the Hittite 60Ghz Chipset : the hmc6000lp711e , the data sheet can only be obtained after making a request , the problem is i never got an answer, the only document i found is this one : link, i just want to know how to use it , knowing that i am not really familiar with this kind of technical data,
to make it easy i am sending three signals through this chipset , so i am gonna need to know how many entries are there and the power supply and the clock ...
thank you

that link you provided IS the data sheet

the only other thing you could have requested would be application notes sheets

Read the GENERAL DESCRIPTION on page 1
If you don't understand that or have someone you can work closely with in person that does understand that, then this chip ( awesome as it is!!) is probably way out of your league to use in a project

Tables 1,2,3 answer all your questions :)

What is your electronics experience ?

cheers
Dave

hello Dave,
i am a second year electrical engineering student, but it is kinda my first real project , i am not familiar with this technical data, provided, but the problem is that i need the data rate that this chipset offers more than 4 Gbps, on my project, i just need to know how can i send data with it , i mean , the power supply is easy to locate, but the data pins are quite hard for me to use

it has a 3 wire serial data I/O system

your peripheral circuitry would need to be able to interface with that

do you have experience designing SMD PCB's ? ... you're going to need it
this chip is really small with VERY close spaced pads that are designed to be heat flow soldered ... reasonably specialist work

in fact i will not build the device i just need to make the solutions and a complete description of the way to build it the components and everything, but i know where to surface mount the chipset here,
i need to send 3 signals through this chipset , 3 channels, i saw some pins with MSK modulation , what does it mean please ? and what about the clock ? because i am going to need it to receive the data

google MSK modulation

it was table 2 or 3 that gave clock osc freq info

i did as you said save, but i don't know what kind of information i need to put on this entry (MSK pin), the image i ve created and put in this LINK provides a general overview on my project, i have have some general information about the modulation , but i don't know what is the difference between data pin and msk pin in this chipset for instance
thank you dave
