How do I change my entry delay on a Power 832?

Can someone please advise me how to do this?

The manual states that my installer can change the entry delay. I do
not HAVE an installer. The installer was a previous person who owned
this home.

I changed the master code to protect myself, but the entry delay is
about 10 or 15 seconds. Very annoying. Yes - I know the reasons for
having a short delay!

But still, I would like to increase the dealy on it.

Can someone please advise me as to how I do that?

Thank you

You'll need the installer code. *8 [installer code] 005 [XXX] [YYY] [ZZZ] ##
XXX = entry delay 1 in seconds (30 = 030)
YYY = entry delay 2
ZZZ = exit delay
js

That's because it's made by "Fisher Price". Try "star", "circle",
"square" (and quit trying to put the big blue round pieces in the little
red square slots).

What if I do not know the installer code? Is there someway to reset it
to a defualt (And what would that default be?)??

In that case you'll need to default the panel and reprogram all of it.
js

Questions:

1) How to I default the panel?

2) by reprogramming all of it, would that include the devices hooked
into it as well? Or would those stay?

That's because their motion detectors are actually a bull in heat,
disguised as a motion detector.

You know what they say about an installer and the size of his motion
sensors, don't you?

Nope, but if I did keep in mind it's what's *in the wall* that counts. ;-)

I think they refer to that as a "glory hole" don't they?
