I've tried googling this, but I cant find how to control the amperage on a breadboard.

I basically need to convert 2 amps to 2.5 amps.

What components do i need? Thanks

A heavier rated power supply or battery . . . . . . if its max output now is only 2 amps.

Neither was your answer helpful. You will need to say what you want to do. You can only convert 2A to 2.5A with less voltage or with more power as Edd says.

AC or DC? What frequency? What sort of stability?
Will a breadboard take 2.5A?

Say what you want to do.:)

He's telling you the truth, whether you like what he's telling you or not. You cannot simply "convert" 2 amps to 2.5 amps; sorry, no such thing. If your load requires 2.5 amps, you'll need a supply capable of providing that amount of current. There's no way around that.

How do I convert 2 inches to 2.5 inches? Ans: you can't.
Amperes are a measure of current flow, as inches are a measure of length.
If you have some device that requires 2.5 amps, and you don't have something that supplies 2.5 amps, you buy something that does.
