I need to detect the amplitude of an fast small pulse. Its repeat rate
is 15Hz, pulse duration is about 10nS, and the amplitude is about
50mV.

Can anybody tell me how to do this?

Thanks a million!

Sample at 200MHz and find the maximum. Just like a digital oscilloscope.
Thank you very much for your reply!

I used a digital oscilloscope Tektrox 5403B to detect the waveform.
However it seems that the results were not stable.

I tried this way: split the pulse signal to two channels and program
the oscilloscope to sample at the same time. Since the input signals
were the same, I should obtain similar results from the two channels.
In about 80% of time the results of both channels are almost the same,
but in other period, amplitude detected from one channel may increase,
while that from the other channel decreased! Do you know the possible
reason?

I found the reason. I should use single scan in order to read waveform
data from the oscilloscope.
