Hello
Two 100 watts solar panels connected parallel ,how to measure amperage out of two panels.
Do i need to put a Load on the solar panel?

If you do know they are 100W each in parallel, you need a 200 W load and DC ampermeter in series to measure maximum capability.
If the load is not 200W, you still need an ampermeter in series to your load of choice.

The back panel should have the details.
Other than that do a short circuit test.
100w panel should show a couple of amps in bright sunlight on a current range on a multimeter.

Can i just hook amperage meter in series positive wire of solar panel to meter to negative wire of solar panel to the meter and get amperage reading will that work?
