Hello.
I would like a better understanding regarding Schmitt-trigger. What I know is: the wider the hysteresis width is, the more it provides noise immunity.

But I am curious about the relationship between incoming signal frequency and the hysteresis width?
And also the relationship of power and hysteresis width?

Thanks.

There is no direct relation. As long as the Schmitt-Trigger circuit is fast enough to follow the input signal. But that applies to any logic circuit.

None that I know of. It may depend on the specific construction of the Schmitt-Trigger input. A typical design uses positive feedback to create the Schmitt-Trigger effect. This feedback may contribute to power dissipation and this contribution may depend on the width of the hysteresis. But I repeat: it depends on the details of the design if and how much.
