I don't know if my new UPS is working normally or not

Hi everybody!

I bought an Eaton 5e 1500i usb UPS yesterday, I want to know if these symptoms are normal or not.

1 - When I plugged the UPS for the first time it took about 13 hours for the battery to reach 100% (I followed a little bit the charging process 1% every 40 minutes).

2- The ipp always shows me that the battery is charging even at 100%,

3 - I did a battery test by simulating an electricity outage, the UPS started to work on Battery, after 5 min battery drain to 90% so I shutted down the UPS by pressing the power button and plugging it again to simulate electricity comeback, the UPS start charging again, but I was surprised the battery drain suddenly from 90% to 69% (Please see the attached screenshots)

It's very frustrating because it's my first time using a UPS and I don't know if I should return it or it's working normally.

I didn't write an explanation because I wasn't 100% sure I had no answer from Eaton support, the UPS manual was poor, the seller does not understand anything, it was difficult to find quick answers for UPS on the internet and this is my first time using a UPS and I suck at electronics, but anyway...

For the discharging to 90% each time when I unplug the UPS : Apparently it's because the "Float charging technology' she is made to maintain the battery in the charged condition from 0% to 90% even if the UPS is unplugged for a while. So each time when I plug again the UPS it start charging from 90% to 100% and it took between 6 hours and 7 hours to reach 100% wish is normal because the float charging technology.

For the charging time I've concluded that is totally normal, the charging to 90% is faster than charging from 90% to 100%.

For the 90% to 69% I dont have an explanation, but I think the battery is work perfectly because I did another electricity outage test and the battery worked approximately for 1 hours and there is no bip's of defective batterie...

Finally, the eaton IPP software is not fully made to work perfectly with the 5E UPS he gived me wrong input/output voltage and when I tested an electricity outage the software don't shutdown my debian server. Only Eaton Companion software do the job on windows but it does not show the voltage.

So after days of research and frustration, I've concluded that the UPS is working properly and that Eaton needs to make an effort in terms of technical support and improve its IPP software to support other of his products because it is useful to use software when we dont have lcd screen on the UPS.
