I need a power amp schematic.

I'm not sure if I'm posting this to right group but I hope you can
help me...

I'm trying to build a guitar amp and it's still on the design level.
I'm done with basic preamp schetch but got stuck with the power amp
part.

The amp is supposed to become an mono, 40 - 60 W to 8 ohms. But the
tough part is that I'm trying to design it with very simple components
and circuit: idea would be to use only ordinary transistors, no IC's
or op-amps etc. Also it shouldn't have any output transformers or
chokes either.

The amp will be built to an eyelet board using point-to-point
technique, that way abandoning the new, not neccessarely so good,
design and construction methods that use cheap and hard to repair
PCB:s and integrated circuits. That's one of the reasons why I try to
keep it simple as possible.

But I'm faced with a problem like this: Where can I find a schematic
or even a schetch for a suitable power amp. All the designs that I can
find are based on some Op-amp or IC circuits.
I haven't been able to find even a single one simple, bridge amplifier
design, not even with a lesser power output.

If you could post me some e-mail adresses where to find the kind of
schematics I'm looking for I would really appreciate it.

That's just: simple transistors, simple design, big power output and a
possible bridged design. No output transformer. Many thanks in
forward.

You need to improve your search engine skills, it'll make life a lot easier.
The term:
"audio amp" 100W circuit
revealed at number 2 the site which had:
http://xoomer.virgilio.it/fladelle/Page2.htm

There's plenty more. However I don't think your reasoning for ignoring IC's
or PCB's is valid. It may well be easier to do the construction on a
prototyping board, but it will need careful layout to prevent feedback and
similar problems. It'll be a lot easier to use some of the hybrid amplifier
modules as well, but it depends on why you want to do this project this way.
If it's for fun/education/satisfaction, then by all means go for it and
learn in the process. But if you honestly believe that this will be a better
design/construction method, I think you'll be disappointed.

Cheers.
