It is most certainly english, I think the problem is your lack of it.
No one here is trying to make fun of you or be ignorant. but if you want help you will knock yourself off the high horse and listen to the people who are asking questions, it might just get you some where when you answer one or two of the questions being asked.

No other number it's a single value, it's not 1 volt, it's not 2 volts, but it is in fact 1.5 volts or 1½ volts...

you know what heres what im getting, this kind of math is the same as inch's.

so for a example 3.5'' meins 3 and one hafe in inchs's.

so the math is the same in electronics in terms of ohms law. this is a mix of geometry and somwhat every other math subject. no one never teach me
geometry.
but i begin to understand that you add and you make the numbers small which meins resistance
.
so it looks like i got to study simple math that i never had help on at school before or was teach to me.

my schooling was diffrent then most of your guys.

tell me am i right about my understnding of your reply?

There is only one type of math, the rules are universal across all subject matter :rolleyes:

No geometry at all... Just basic subtraction and division, grade school level math, nothing fancy at all...

Clearly you understand what the number 123 means.

It means one lot of one hundred added to two lots of ten, added to three lots of 1. I still remember doing this when I was at school a looooong time ago :)

The same thing keeps happening for larger numbers, so there is the position for thousands, ten-thousands, hundred-thousands, and millions, etc., etc..

Well, it also goes the other way, for things smaller than 1. And the decimal point just shows us that the stuff to the left of it are whole numbers. So wheat is to the right are fractional parts.

so 4.125 is four lots of one, one lots of a tenth, two lots of a hundredth, and five lots of a thousandth.

As a fraction, that is the same as as 4 + 1/10 + 2/100 + 5/1000, or 4 plus 125/1000.

With a bit of division by common factors, this comes to 4 1/8 -- four and one eighth.

As CocaCola says, this is true of ALL math -- it's nothing special.

everyone i got the ohms for the light i want to install on to the ps2 slim, the ohms are 623.

with some video help to find out the systems ohms are, i put down this, my ps2 is 8.5 volts devided by 5.3 amps =1.6037735 ohms.

now are are all those numbers mmean when they say 1.6037735?

overall i dont know where to go on finding out what kind of resister i need:confused.

help me understand theses number help me find out what ohms i need pls!.

take that value you got above and divided by

the ideal LED forward current in Amps, it's likely rated in mA (15mA = 0.015 Amps or 20mA = 0.020 Amps for example)

The end result is the minimum resistor value you need in Ohms...

ok guys i dont know what the **** im doing so i will give this a shot.

8.5v devided by 5.3 again i get the number that i dont understand 1.6037735 ohms from the ps2 itsef.

then i take 1.6037735 - 623ohms from the led light and it is = to 621.39623.

what the hell does those mean. do i need to have 621.139623 ohms?

this dose not shound right. to meny numbers im getting fed up kinda.
