I am a diesel mechanic and not and diagnose, repair a lit of electronic circuits. Can bus and such. My problem is that I didn't build the systems just repair them. I have a customer that wants to use a pressure transducer 12vdc power supply to operate an led indicator on at when set pressure is achieved. Transducer uses 500ma output. How do I use this output to run 12v led?
Thanks

Welcome to maker.pro.
That image crops off some of the data. Can you post one which shows more data?
Although the transducer pnp outputs are rated for 500mA, an external indicator LED need only draw a few mA.

Better info. Also this is the light that I want to shine in the operator's face to alert him.
Do I need to choose a different one?

Wow ! That's an expensive indicator light, but will do the job. The 12V rating suggests it already has an internal current-limiting resistor, but I'd recommend connecting an external (~1k) resistor in series with it, at least initially, in case it doesn't, or if it proves too bright.
It looks as though the light (with optional resistor) simply connects to pins 2 and 3 of the transducer for your purpose.
I see the transducer already incorporates a yellow LED to indicate that the set pressure has been reached.

Starting to make more sense now. I guess I didn't understand that ma could light an led bulb but was more of a signal to a processor input that would then tell something else to light the light.

I see that the light only uses 17mA to run but is the voltage present at pin 2 to power the light.?

PNP output will supply positive. Outputs will connect to the positive supply.

Connect one LED terminal to the transducer output and the other LED terminal to negative. It is a DC/AC LED so polarity is not important.

Pretty sure this is how your IFM transducer will work using pin 4.
Pin 4 is normally open (NO). LED will be off and will come on at the set pressure.

I really appreciate all the feedback and help. I work a lot with 12 and 24v systems and ecm inputs and outputs but don't really know electronic terms. Got lost on the pnp mA output as being strong enough to make bulb light up anything more than super dim.
Thanks again.
