I2C to RS232

Hello,

A apparatus of mine has 2 RS232 poorts an a I2C bus. The RS232 poorts
are both in use by a modem and a serial driver for reading meters. I
want to have an other RS232 poort, so now I want to make a I2C to
RS232 converter, however I cannot find a component.
Help :?

Can't be that difficult. A lot of PICs and other micros around that have
hardware support for both UART and I2C. Ever build one using a PIC16F73 but
there are newer, (better?) and cheaper ones these days. I often point to
www.voti.nl as you find a lot of (PIC) info on that site.
