ic level design in orcad 9.2 and multisim 2001

Hello,

I am directly going to the problem ...

I want to simulate a FULL ADDER using basic gates and i can do that
successfully. Now i want to simulate it using ICs. But I can not find
any ICs in PSPICE or Multisim 2001.

Can any one tell me how i can do IC level simulation in Orcad or
Multisim 2001 or give me any software name where IC level simulation
can be done

Thank you
zaki

It seems that what you are asking is how do you construct a block symbol
with a ".subckt" model that is a "full adder". This can be done in both
PSpice and Mulitsim. Read their Help.

Alternatively, use SuperSpice, http://www.anasoft.co.uk and I will guide
you through the process to do so. Its generally automatic. That is,
symbols and models can be generated automatically from a schematic.

SuperSpice, a very affordable Mixed-Mode
Windows Simulator with Schematic Capture,
Waveform Display, FFT's and Filter Design.

I think I cant make myself clear ...
OK ... here it is what I want ..
In orcad ( and multisim 2001 ) I can do the simulation using gates but
i want to do the simulation using ICs, like what we do in a trianer
board.

I can do the simulation or draw schematics in Orcad (and Multisim 2001)
using gates but I want to do it using ICs, like what we do in a
trainer board.

Well, usually you grab the 74xx (or 74LSxx) part that corresponds to
that gate, and use that in your design. Those parts are all in the
standard libraries, so that is why everyone is giving you the basic
SaWhat? attitude. You just do it...
