I have these empty computer metal chassis which i want to use instead of throwing them. Dimensions are (H x W x D):. 18.07 x 5.54 x 51.76 cm (7.11 x 2.18 x 20.37 in), any ideas what can be done. I had a thought of converting them into safety box for food vendors during covid 19 times. Your ordered food is in a packaged and goes into the box [no one will touch it] you drive thro and pick it up using a code on your phone. The picture shown here is vertical and i don't have the big chassis which holds 16 of the individual units. These can be stacked horizontally on top of each other and slide out.

You could take the fronts off and try advertising them as project boxes/enclosures.
I doubt you’ll sell many but it’s worth a try.
Scrap metal probably isn’t worth it as there’s no weight to them.
Storage boxes would require a lot of custom sheet work to be viable plus takeaway food bags are huge for more than one person’s order.
Maybe flower/plant boxes for a computer shop?, but they wouldn’t buy them!.
I really don’t know.

You made a point, never thought about selling it as a project box. Thanks
