I have attached a photo of it to this post with the component circled in red.

Its hard to read the information on it .. looks like .. 2a1u3x .. maybe and has two leads too it.

Cheers for any help.

ahh really I been googleing capacitors for ages trying to identify it, I cant make sense of the markings on it and its marked on the board as a X not as C1 for example.

Guess the end of the markings could really be 103x 10000pf X tolerance ?

It looks like a 0.1uF greencap (if your reading is correct). It's a capacitor, and it may be used in the filtering of an audio signal, but unless you can trace the wiring around it there is no way to know what sort of filter it is part of (if indeed it is part of a filter)

Could that letter be a "K"?

See here.

Okay yea I see now cheers for your help on something I probably should of recognised easier lol.

2A = 100volts
103= 0.01 uf
x could possibly be a k its pretty worn and hard to read which would just be the tolerance.

I have worked the whole circuit out I have attached a picture of where abouts it is in the circuit but im happy now :).

Thx for your help.
