Hai
I doing a project on measuring the inductance using VNA(vector network analyzer)
I mounted a 5.6n H inductor between two 50 ohm connector (note: the length of wire used to connect is actually longer than the size of inductor) followed by a 50 ohm termination.
This is one port measurement .I obtained the S11 from VNA and the value of ZL was calculated using the formula ZL=Z0*(1+S11)/(1-S11).
The value of SRF given in the data sheet is 6G Hz. But i am getting it at 300KHz itself. and there is more than one resonance in the circuit.
Can some suggest a better way to mount the inductor. Do i need any extra circuit to mount the inductor?
If so pls help me with the circuit
Thanks
