Hi,

An inductor was detached from the PCB in field. I checked the inductor resistance and inductance, they are in good condition.
Can anyone face this issue and what would be the reasons.

Inductors/coils come in various sizes.
The ‘larger’ types are usually glued to the board and adjacent components.
Some are left floating in the breeze and therefore break off.
Show a picture of yours please, as I’m just guessing.

It's SMD type 19uH, 5.7A rating. It's soldered. Picture not available now, later I share.

Perhaps bad soldering from factory?
Or lots of vibration which shook it off?.
Too many variables.
But I suggest you carefully check all solder joints as this is unusual but does happen.
Or…the device is drawing lots of current and melted the solder?.

Seconded. A poor soldered joint may have caused a localised heating issue that could, at those currents, cause the total disconnection of the device. If there's no physical signs of heating then a manufacturing fault is the likely cause.

Photo's of the issue notwithstanding!
