I would be interested to hear from members where they purchase there components from?, especially if you can buy just one or two, and not have to buy ten at a time.

Also I would like to know which manufactures of electronic components that member’s use, because of the quality of there products?.

Even the larger component suppliers will allow purchasing of 'one or two' items these days. The usual limitations - if you can call them that - are either a minimum spend or exorbitant postage charges, sometimes a combination of the two.

There are still independent component suppliers out there too - if you have a local place it's got to be worth supporting them by purchasing locally.

I use a 'local' supplier for generic bits but have to resort to the bigger outfits for their massive selection when it comes to specialist devices or weird values.

Where are you in this small world?.
I use a high street shop and the big guys like RS components.
I found by accident a good electronics shop in Cricklewood Broadway while working there. I use them now and they post it to me.
Sometimes though, it’s cheaper to buy 10 rather than 1 if you’re prepared to wait 10 days or so from China.

Thank you for your reply, with the info regarding who you have purchase from, but especially the info regarding the shop in Cricklewood Broadway. Also should have mention that I am located in the U.K

I buy from techshopbd. Their service is limited inside Bangladesh Only.
