Hi,

Im doing my project, trying to send a signal from the "HT12E encoder" to a
"HT12D decoder" ........... The problem is that i've been told that the
oscillator frequency on the transmitter and the receiver needs to be the
same is this true!? i have had a look at the data sheets and it dosen't
seem possible am i missing something??

Any advice on this subject would be a good help thanks, this is my first
time constructing something practical from the theory that i have learnt and
it is proving challenging in a good way though....

According to the Holtek datasheets and faq, the frequencies are different. The transmitter (HT12E encoder) should have a frequency
50 times that of the receiver (HT12D decoder).
