Hi, this is my first question on the forum. Please don't hesitate to let me know if I am posting in the wrong place. I am an electronic squid.

My question is, how I could interface a couple devices to communicate with each other. I am trying to data log some sensor signals from my bike to equipment from "Innovate motorsports" such as the O2 sensor data and a few other things. I have their pocket logger box and wideband O2 sensor stuff and the components use serial 2 data protocol in a daisy chain fashion. They state that they use standard UART protocol that is used in many other electronics on the market for using with other brands.

The next device that I have that I am hoping to handshake with is (actually both of these following devices or one or the other) Bazzaz fuel controller / and the Dynojet powercommander with auto-tune. I am going to attach links to the info that each one of these things are incase you are not familiar with them. It might make it easier to give you an idea if what I am trying to do is indeed possible or not. Also although there is no data that says anything technical about communication type, this unit takes several analog inputs from the bike and logs them to give you a recommended fuel/air ratio adjustment. This leads me to suspect that it streams this by serial at some point. It interfaces to a computer through a side port with a mini USB cord. Again, if my thought process is way out in left field, sorry. I am definitely a newbie at this comm stuff.

The first link is for the Innovate logger and interface setup;

This link is to the Bazzaz system, however it doesn't specify what com protocol it uses however there are physical indicators that lead me to believe that it also uses serial or TTL protocol.. Also I can get more info on the hardware that I have if it aids in helping me out with this.

To answer your questions I think we would need specific experience with those devices. Clearly we don't have too many of the correct sort of rev-head here.

My first stop would be to ask the manufacturer(s)
