Okay, I exaggerate a little. 
My name is Joseph A. Nagy, Jr (I prefer Alex) and while I've had a little experience in the past, I'm a newbie to DIY anything aside from web design (and even that's fallen by the wayside).
(edit): I love working on things, especially if I can figure out how it works and why it works. I also have a huge fascination with electricity (especially electronics) and if I can DIY it, I like to try it, though I rarely have the cash to do so (until recently, I do believe being cash strapped is at an end for me). I'm studying to be an electrician at Tennessee Technology Center at McMinnville (McMinnville, TN) and taking an elective in Electronics Technology so as to enable me to have more confidence in DIY projects and to make myself more valuable to employers (or, if I go self-employed relatively quickly, more valuable to potential clients).
