Is it possible to repurpose transducers from normal headphones to use them in a diy sleepphones?

Sleepphones are not sold where I live and I cannot buy them from their site ship to where I live. Similar products are sold on Amazon but I don't want to buy them.

Is it possible to repurpose transducers from normal headphones to use them in diy sleepphones, sleepphones are soft, spongy headbands with transducers, most have wire, some have bluetooth, they are worn when sleeping to play soothing music.

The headphones I can buy usually have earcups, which have a role in sound production, the transducers don't have any protective shell behind them, their soldering is exposed, can these types of transducers work in sleepphones, which don't allow earcups.
