Dear all,
I have a new electronic device (torque sensor) which has a 25 pins digital I/O connector.
The characteristics of this connector is shown in attached.
I would like to use one of the pins (pin 15) which is an input, and I would like to send pulses of 24 VDC to it.
In fact I need to send 24 VDC to this pin to start the operation of my sensor.
Question:
I would like to know, which value of current I should send at 24 VDC to this input ?
In the data sheet ints written that the max input current is 8 mA. Is this the max current I should send?
Or this is the current controlled by an internal resistor at this pin?
Many thanks in advance
