Hi!,
I found a new inverter circuit. I want to know if I can use this with a 15v hybrid battery with some 6A diodes to drop the voltage and use a 9-0-9 transformer.
As you can see in the video the vrms is about 8.57v. Use IN4148 diodes across the gate and the source. I just need to light up few 5w light bulbs. Because we have power cuts in Srilanka

That is an oscillator which gives a high voltage at the output. There is no voltage sensing and there is no certainity of 220/230/240 volts at the output.
But it will work for low power loads like a LED lamp, since the input voltage range of LED lights pretty large.

Dropping 15 volts to 9 to power this will mean generation of heat. Those "diodes" will be acting as heaters and will require large heatsinks.

I think you need to avoid the "inverter" option. Use 15 volt LED bulbs , or 12 Volt ones with a switching buck regulator.

Change all your lights to 12V (LED) and use a battery charger when power is available. All you're doing by using an inverter is 'wasting power' as the design is very inefficient.
