Hi,

I have two servos and want them to move at the same time. would it work if i join the two signal wires together and just feed them the same piece of code?

Thanks :)

This should work, provided the output of the servo driver can supply enough current to drive two servos simultaneously. Give it a try, the risk is very low.

I very much doubt that you will have success if these are PID positioning loop servo's, each has to have its own control loop.
In a motion control system it is done with electronic gearing, but this also requires individual drives.
It can be done with stepper motors.
What trajectory controller are you using?

I was thinking along the line of RC model servos.

@Rushmoore what kind of servos do you use? This will help us clarify the correct answer.

When he mentioned applying code I assumed regular motion servo's, if they are fed open loop velocity mode it could work, but the relative rpm/position between them will be unpredictable.

When he mentioned applying code I assumed regular motion servo's
... and I assumed code for generating a PWM signal to control RC servos.
So it goes if one makes assumptions ;)
