Hi.

I have a problem with a Flatron W1942TQ-BF monitor. When I power up the monitor the image disappear after 2 or 3 seconds. All the capacitors are new and I've checked the CCFL tubes wih a tester and eveything is OK on this side.

Does anyone have an idea of the source of the trouble?

Thanks

Does any of the lamps you have tested show a red tinge to it? If the load is unbalanced the inverter circuit will shut down.

Look at voltage going to the inverter, there is Vcc, switched and brightness. Can you simulate a load to your lamps?

Take a flashlight and angle it into the 'dead' monitor is the image still there? If so it's a back light problem, if the image is no longer there it's deeper... This will help you confirm and narrow it down...
