LED or CFL flickering with motion sensor in circuit

I have in wall motion sensor. I put in a 2x2 LED panel and light works great when turned on. Problem is when on for motion detector, its 1/2 as bright and some what flickers. Any ideas..could a newer switch that is for LED solve problem

It is likely that either the reduced current consumption of the LED panel, or the unusual power factor of some LED drivers is causing your problem.

Getting a motion sensor that explicitly stated it is suitable for LED bulbs may help, but it's not certain.

Some motion sensors, especially the lower end market type ( el-cheapos) are triac output and do not lend themselves to LED requirements.
Whereas other more expensive units use relay out so doesn't really matter a toss what connects to it as long as the LED has the correct drivers.
