Hello, I am building a model house from popsicle sticks, and i have finished the 1st floor, and am putting lights in it. i have an adapter that plugs into the wall and converts the power into 6 volt DC 500ma. The 5mm leds i am using require 3.2 to 3.8 volts. 6 volts just frys the leds. What do I need to do to make them work?

Ok, so if I have 6 leds, each requiring 3.5 volts, I would need 21 volts? Or could I use a wall plug that is 6 volts and 500ma? Sorry if this doesnt make sense; Im new to leds.

See the section that is described as

"2) Driving a large array of low power LEDs (Including a practical example)"

The simple answer is that you will need a single resistor for each LED (I hope you know the current you'll be operating the LEDs at -- that is the key thing).
