Hi guys!

We are currently working on a project that involves charging 9V li-ion batteries. But we have a problem on what circuit on the end of charge detector we are going to use. We currently have a LM3420 from TI, another problem is that the package of this QFN or is a surface mounted IC and we don't have materials to solder it. Can you suggest any end of charge detector circuits or IC (not in QFN package) that we can use for this?

Thanks a lot.

I'm sure I answered this. Oh well.

The traditional method of detecting end of charge of when the current at the final voltage falls below some predetermined value.

As for which chip to use, go to digikey and search they're. You can for by package.
