Hey Paul
the simple answer is YES this battery will work..... maybe just the once but yes it will work
the MN21 is smaller than an AAA. the AAA is about 1200 mah and 1.5volts. the MN21 is 8 times greater in volts so 8 times LOWER in mah so about 150mah... then its also smaller and such..
WHAT I AM GETTING AT is that the battery has very very very very little power.

if you want to walk up and just put a battery on the wires and have it open/close then as a 1 use you MAY get away with it

2 of these would work and offer longer usage and get you to 12volts

a 12volt SLA battery would last longer, (car battery type)

ebay and the seller do not have a clue about how much current the acuator uses. They just know how much profit they get when they sell one. A Duracell MN21 alkaline battery is rated at only 50mAh. The actuator might need 100 or more of those tiny batteries to operate one time.

Sires . . . . . .

They are not being the " only phone company in town " on that 750N series of units.

Plug in specs of :

No-load current<1A
Max load current=3A

And those puny little batteries seem less feasible.

Many thanks all for your comments and suggestions. Since this is not a one-time use item, I have looked into SLA batteries which seams like the best solution.

Thanks again,

Paul
