Simulates handling of the power lead on ungrounded two wire circuits.

For Class II appliances you mean ? Not very likely in my case as it happens but useful
to know.

Can you quote an IEC / EN where it's stated ? Sadly ( due to cost ) mine are a little
scarce and aren't all up to date.

I've been involved with loads of LISN tests and never had any trouble.

** It's TOTALLY IRRELEVANT to post what has NOT happened to YOU
personally as if THAT constitutes safety advice - you FUCKING
IMBECILE !!!

And what a damn shame you were not electrocuted.

You don't let dummies loose on that stuff.

** More TOTALLY IRRELEVANT CRAP

when the potential electrocution hazard is so well hidden from anyone.

And don't say use an ELCB with it

- cos one CANNOT be used with a LISN.

I understand that. Most of the work that goes into a "standard" is
paid for by others (academics, manufacturers, industrial users, end
users and more) are not paid for their work by the standards
organization. Then the standards organization plays "publisher" and
extracts high to unreasonable prices for work that they did not pay a
penny for. IEEE is amongst the worst for this. Check out the price
for one copy of the IEEE "color book" series. Near $$$$$.

Absolutely true. Don't even get me started on how dishonest I think it
is. A complete scam, IMO.
