Once upon a time, a plain old stereo receiver had a tuning 'aid' made of three LEDs in the shape of

The red triangular outer LEDs showed off tune. The green central LED showed when a radio station was properly tuned.
The LEDs were driven by a simple consumer IC. What ICs that you know of are capable of that ?
I have looked mainly to old Sanyo and Rohm chips without finding such feature.
Any help is welcome.
If you know of a new brain that I can get transplanted, will be a bonus. The last one I got was refurbished, and is not doing well in the memory department.
