Greetings!
I have a 4-channel camera system, with a DVR that I didn't realize
(when I purchased it, last year) that would display on only Microsoft's
Internet Explorer web browser. (I use Linux and prefer Firefox.) I had
never done anything like this before, and there was a lot I didn't know.
This is for home. (I'm investigating the supercircuits.com DMR5, and
anything else that I could possibly find out whether they will work with
Firefox or other good web browsers and not "break the bank".)
Back then, I decided I would keep it, for a backup DVR, but next
year, I would see if I could afford another DVR (that would display on
other web browsers) and that one could become my "main" DVR. I'm hoping
to find one now I can afford.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I'm unfortunately finding
web sites where DVRs match "any" or "standard" web browser that when I ask
directly at the manufacturer's web site, and get a reply, only work with
IE.
Thank you for any help you can give me!
Barry
