Looking for info on Trackpoints

Hey guys
I dug a track point aka track stick aka that little nub on think pads out of an old dell laptop. I'd like to put this into an arduino based joystick, if possible. This one has four wires. Does anyone know much about them? Any info is appreciated even just the technical name.

track point, track stick , little nub and think pad mean nothing to me at least in the terms of electronics.

Yeah I know, I'm just wondering if there's anyone here who does know a thing or two about pressure sensitive joysticks. Which is what I think these are. I'm asking before I start digging to see if I can't save some time.

I think you're taking about those odd little button things that were placed between keys on laptops and used as joysticks.

I don't have any information on them other than thinking these were originally on IBM laptops.
