Hi,

the attached picture shows two identical (through-hole and radial) 600 ohm resistors connected in parallel to obtain a shunt resistance of 300 ohm. There are the following notations on the package: "MW02 600R 0.5/E".
I suppose they are metal foil precision resistors, but I cannot find their datasheet on the web. Could anyone recognize them and help me to recover detailed information (tolerance, TCR, rated power...)?

Unfortunately, I cannot show any link to the origin of those resistors, because I found them installed in a measurement equipment I am using at present and I don't really know anything about them except the notations on their packages.

Hi, Harald Kapp,
thanks for your answer, but I'm not sure it is the right one.
I found that datasheet (stand-up miniature power resistors by BC Components) on alldatasheet.com before posting my thread and it doesn't match with my resistors for the following reasons:
1) resistors of the series SMW02 only range from 0.1 to 200 ohm whereas mine have a nominal value of 600 ohm;
2) resistors of the series SMW02 have 4.5 mm long leads whereas mine have much longer leads (around 2 cm).
In addition, my resistors are employed as a 300 ohm shunt resistance in a 4-20 mA corrent loop, so they don't need to be miniature power resistors.

Have a search for metal foil precision resistor. Vishay have 400R and 500R so it must be there somewhere.

Given the profundity of exact values and even better tolerances that are available, do you need to have the exact device as a replacement? Isn't the right value/tolerance good enough regardless of its 'shape'?
