I realise that this is an old thread and the question concerning using it on a Rpi also is, but I found some info on the connections for the panel in the service manual for the Hitachi VC5430 oscilloscope. If someone has one of these panels laying around i'd be interested in buying it, the one on my scope misteriously cracked while just sitting on the bench with nothing touching it :/
