Hello guys,
Actually I am trying to build my own custom adjustable voltage power supply unit. I am going to use ltc 3780 buck-boost module to control volt and current.

I am having a spare 12 v 5 amp power supply. I googled for the output I will get when i'll use ltc 3780 module at 12 v with it is 6 amp at max.

What if I get a 12 v 10 amp power supply. What could be the output of ltc module at 12 to 15 v then?

Iout = Iin * Vin / Vout * e

Where e = efficiency < 1

The 12V/10A power supply has a power of 12V x 10A= 120W. Then the maximum output of the buck/boost module will be a little less.
But the module uses the LTC3780 controller IC plus many other parts that produce power and we do not know what is the maximum output power of the module. If the module is very powerful then with the 12/10A input the maximum output at 15V will be a little less than (12V x 10A)/15V= 8A.
