Hello,

Thank you for your consideration in helping me.

I am a street musician, all my gear thus far is battery powered via built in battery slots. I just got a new piece of equipment the RC-50 Loopstation, ( view device here: http://www.bossus.com/gear/productdetails.php?ProductId=772 click on 'SPECS' ) that is only powered by a wall mounted charger.

What I want to do is buy 8 eneloop rechargeable batteries, ( http://www.eneloop.info/ ) and place them in this battery holder here: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062242

Then connect this to the battery pack ( http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062219 )

then have the red and black wires go to one of these ( http://www.google.com/products/cata...=X&ei=CNIJT5TkLIqHtwe42qSqDg&ved=0CK8BEPMCMAU

Which will finally plug into the back on the RC-50

Will this work?

I have also considered buying a power inverter and getting a deep cycle marine battery to power my RC-50 but that is a lot of money I don't have right now. Plus I already have the necessary battery charger for said eneloop batteries.

Once again thank you for the help!

I would be looking to get about 4 hours of use out of it. Let me ask you this, If I up the amount of batteries will I get a longer run time?

Thank you.

Yeah if you run two packs in parallel it will double your power. You just have to be careful that the packs are equally charged. If there is a voltage difference between the two packs when hooked up there will be large currents between the batteries which is never a good thing.

I would think 3.5 hours seems plausible. Now that is assuming constant load of 450mA.
