Mini itx power supply

Hi everyone, i m a newbie here. I m a uni student who is currently working on final year project..My project is to design a fanless 12V DC-DC ATX power supply for mini-ITX form factor PC. The target is to use external brick block PSU with 12V output and generate ATX specified outputs using DC-DC converter. The motherboard i gonna try on is the intel D510. Can anyone provide me some advice?
The target of my lecturer set for me is
1. Stg like PICO psu..
2. I cant seem to find the required power for intel d510 motherboard
