Isn't receiving signal from cable or DVD player. TV is approximately
2.5 years old.
Thank you for any info.

A few questions to help you diagnose the cause.
Do your other TV's receive cable OK? If not, call the cable provider.
Does the DVD player attach to the TV through the antenna input (cable connects
to DVD player antenna input, DVD player antenna output connects to TV antenna
input)? If so, connect the cable directly to TV antenna input. Does TV receive
cable OK? If so, trash DVD player and buy a new one. If not, TV is bad; take
to service shop or replace with a new one.

Cheers!!!

A couple more questions that came to me just as I hit the Send button:
Exactly what are the symptoms that you see exhibited by the TV?
A) Screen lights up but no picture or sound; just noise on the screen, like an
extremely weak signal
B) Only a solid white or blue screen
C) Screen does not light up at all.

Any of the above indicates a trip to the service shop.

Did you have any thunderstorms in the area just before the problem occurred? If
so, the likely cause of your problem is that a nearby ligning strike damaged the
TV's tuner. If so, it needs to go to a service shop.
