Evening all,

This is my first post here so please bare with me.

I'm after some help with identifying some components on a blown board.

Basically the unit I have here, is a commissioning tool for Mitsubushi air conditioning systems, (CMS-MNG).. In short, the role of this tool is to convert a 30vdc signal that is produced by an outdoor condensor to allow it to effectively "talk" to each unit.

Now before you connect this device to the outdoor unit it specifically tells you NOT to connect to anything above 200v.... Which as you can see has happened, which in turn has blown some components.

These units are expensive to purchase and my company asked if I could do anything with it.

Any opinions?

I can 'bear' with you but I draw the line at getting naked!!

The only hope you have is probably identifying the larger SMT components, mosfets etc and attempting a replacement.
Good luck.

Ha! ;)

uh huh LOL :)

DA could well be a BF622 Hi voltage NPN Transistor --- the package and SMD code match
http://www.nxp.com/documents/data_sheet/BF620_622.pdf

PCF1 "24" is an opto coupler for feedback from the output stage back to the input stage
This will be part of the voltage regulation circuitry

Dave

Davenn, I believe also the 'DA' could be a BF622 transistor! it matches the spec on the data sheet and also dimensions are correct, so I will order a replacement and try.

Any luck identifying the 56 29 transistors?

Ha! ;)

LOL you need to be careful how to spell words ... can lead to all sorts of misunderstandings haha ;)

bear = animal or to withstand

bare = naked bare skin, not painted bare wood or metal, etc etc

interestingly enough quite a common mistake by many people on the forums :)
