A lightbulb with output equivalent to a 100W light bulb consuming 60W isn't
that much of an improvement. Current A-shaped tungsten halogen bulbs which
are equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb consume 70W of energy. This is
in Australian and other 220V/230V/240V countries.

That's what meant, in a round about fashion. It was after he retired
and he patented the idea.
