Motion sensor

I am trying to build a motion sensor but it does not seem to work. I need to build the actual passive infra red unit like the BISS0001 chip. I cannot find a supplier of that chip to build that circuit, is there any other chip that can be used in the place of the BISS0001. Or is there any other circuit that I can build that can be triggered by movement. Please assist me.
