Currently i want to make my garage secure, i am setting my workshop there. And i want to set up locks with DC motors and gears in the beginning. For the motor activation i would want it activated from the computer wireless or putting on a keypad. How to make the circuit and parts where to buy would be great (Better if in uk)

TL;DR : I want dc motors activated on computer wirelessly or on keypad.

I think it was Coca-Cola who gave these links to very cheap remote controllers in another thread. I saved them because they are really cheap and easy: link1, link2
Around such unit you could build your system.

Yep, those little wireless remotes found all over Ebay and in most Asian electronics importers are a cheap and easy solution to wireless... You can get them from 1 channel to 12 channels for chump change delivered to your door...

FYI some of the receivers even come in pretty nice enclosures...

You haven't given a detailed description of your plans, so a tutorial is out of the question...

These modules will simply supply a wireless activation option...

Giving a generic overview like "And i want to set up locks with DC motors and gears in the beginning." is pretty much all jumbled words to everyone except yourself that probably has a picture in your head...

In the end I gather you want some type of automated locking mechanism, but I have no clue why or what the goal of such a system is...

BTW there are commercial door locking solutions that I'm guessing you might be trying to simulate?

For example how do i wire the motor to the reciever and the energy source, also i think i need to add something on once i click it changes direction and how long does it of its spin for eg once i press it goes clockwise for 1 second and if i press agian it goes counter-clockwise for 1 second.
