Multicore shielded cable in the US

Once upon a time this was easy to get in small quantities (25' - 100')
but now it seems like 500' or more is the norm. I'm looking for 26 or
28 AWG 4 conductor **tinned** copper shielded cable in 25' to 100'
quantities and just can't seem to find it at the usual Digikey/Jameco/
Mouser/Newark etc. locations. I've seen the mentioned in un-tinned
copper conductors but leaving that as a last resort. Anybody know of
other well stocked sources for the above in the US?

Thanks, but after asking them their sales policy they basically told
me that they were a wholesaler and only sold to electrical
contractors.

A couple of years ago, I went to, of all places, Home Depot, and picked
up some 5-conductor+drain shielded cable, but I don't see it listed on
their website, it might have been a special buy. I don't remember what
they called it, but I found it in the electrical section next to all of
the other spools of wire, and they were selling it by the foot. It
was something like "communications cable" or "control cable" - if you
have a "home handyman" store nearby, it might be worth giving it a look.

Good Luck!
