Hi all,

In my circuit board at the source, ground has been divided in
to analog and digital ground respectively. In one of the article i have
studied that it is better to connect back to back diode at the source
ground for joining both the analog and digital ground. Is it must and
should to use the diode,if so what type of diode i have to use.

suppose for an analog ic if i had misplaced the ground
connection as digital, does the current will flow in return to the
source ground.why because i am getting different voltages by placing
my DMM(digital multi meter) -ve terminal to different grounds.please
clear me about this analog and digital ground in my circuit board.

Thanks in advance.
