My First Project

As the name suggests, I am building my first project. I have just recently become acquainted with this. What should I make? I need something fairly simple, yet which would enhance my basics. I am thinking along the line of Line Follower or Wall Follower. Any other ideas?

it really dependson how confident you are.
line followers are a little more detailed than I started with but if you are at that level feel free to go for it.
I find making things I am interested in or want keeps me going. right now I am making a wireless remote for our tv so it broadcasts a signal from upstairs to downstairs then to the tv. its just for a bit of fun but its something that will save me from having to go all the way downstairs to tell the kids to be quiet lol

If you want to make something really simple, you can make a little blinker out of a 555 and an led. The whole project took me only a few components, and I could get used to soldering to proto-board, because had only breadboarded things before.

It doesn't have to be life changing!
