Gday fellow electricians,

Hi, This is my first post here. I was hoping to get some advice on the most appropriate linear actuator for the following task:

Maximum force: 35N
Stroke: 20mm
Velocity: 300mm/s
Acceleration at max force: 63.7g (I calculated this in order to meet the performance corridors I have attached)

Accuracy:
As a worst case scenario, the actuator needs to be able to accelerate from rest to 250mm/s and back to rest again over a distance of 1.6mm with an accuracy of +- 0.1mm. Ive attatched a graph of the expected performance corridors, which need to be met at worst case load of 35N.

Any suggestions on what type of actuator to get? Im not sure to go down the path of pneumatics or to stick with a conventional electromagnetic actuator. I would prefer it not to be too expensive either.

Thanks in Advance, Jamie
