Hey Guys!

I broke my iphone display lately and put a new one in. Now I think that the LED Backlight of the iPhone 5S is still working. I removed it from the LCD screen and there is one connector on it. It has three lanes. My question now is, how do I power the display? I guess it's PWM controlled for dimming? How do I keep it at the max brightness? Is there an easy way without and microcontrollers?

Thanks in advance!!

You will need to identify the exact purpose of each of these three lanes before you go messing around with the brightness. Do you have a multimeter? If so, is there any way that you may test the terminals with the phone turned on? May you provide any images of the internal circuitry, along with the backlight connector? If you have an oscilloscope, this would solve the problem quickly, if PWM is involved (likely), you could identify the pin very quickly.
