Need Orig. HOT # For CTC187CL3 35" RCA

Can anyone assist in telling me the original Number for HOT for
this RCA Chassis. Came into shop without one in it at all. Do not
have schem. for this chassis. Thinking a 2302 or BUH517 would
be ok, but not sure if it requires the damper diode.

Recommanded to use this RCA part number, RCA selects HOTs. Or get
the transistor from electronic suppliers that doesn't deal in fakes or
non-optimum HOTs.

BUH517.

Check: flyback, 2.4K SMD off the horizontal driver transistor for the
horizontal transformer driver, etc, Remove & scrape clean the
horizontal transformer driver pins. Also make sure the brass eyelets
is soldered. It looks like steel but they're plated and usually
couldn't get solder wet onto that, solution: wick eyelets solder dry,
and buff the eyelet with pink eraser to get the "golden" color of
brass. This WILL get solder bonded to it well.

Cheers,
