NEED: Schematics for building a broad band frequency jammer (FM 88M-108M)

I would like to build a broad band frequency jammer for the FM
broadcast band. I have neighbors that like to play that damn music too
loud all day long. I figure if they turn it load and their station
goes off the air for a while they might get the message. ;-) :-D
If they keep the volume at a respectful level they will be allowed to
listen to their music as they wish as long as I don't have to listen
to it at uncomfortable levels.
I know this is entirely illegal and don't care about it. This is war
(!!!)and I plan on winning.
If you have plans for something that would help me achieve my goal I
would like to hear of it. My electronics skills are advanced (I've
used to build and design "bugs" for many years, I own a good equipped
lab, enough that I could build a project.
I have some experience with rf broadcast circuits.
The proximity of the offending radio's location to my house is quite
near so I don't believe a transmitter with an overly large
power...something between 3-5W
will be enough...LOL....
I'm "jamming" this neighbour with a 5W transmitter, but have to change
the frequency MANUALLY as soon as he changes the station, so I cannot
figure out how to do it automatically...
I'll be VERY THANKFUL for your help and ideas :)
TIA

Instead of a "silent" jam, get a radio on the same frequency next
to your transmitter and transmitt a feedback squeel. This would
get some attention if they have volume turned up.

Sounds like you don't need any help, then.
Use one of your old FM bugs and adapt to sweep the band with a
sawtooth generator varying the reverse bias on a suitably chosen
varactor diode as part of the frequency determining section. Then
hitch the output of your bug to a couple of additional broad(ish) band
RF amplification stages which you will no doubt have no problem
designing. Presumably you know all this, anyway.
The proximity of the offending radio's location to my house is quite
near so I don't believe a transmitter with an overly large

So you want to wipe out the whole of the band to save you the bother
of retuning? I don't think you've thought this through very well. What
about everyone else in the neighbourhood who presumably don't annoy
others with too much volume? They're going to get wiped out, too. 3-5W
can cause quite a bit of widespread local disruption unless you're in
a strong signal area.

You really haven't thought this through have you.
Your neighbor isn't doing anything illegal.
Your plan IS illegal.
You can EASILY be located by the authorities.
STIFF fines are involved.
If you're in the US, all they gotta do is call the FCC
and you're toast.
If you're gonna wage war, you should have a winning strategy.
Your current one ain't!

Smear some Jam on your speekers and tune in to their frequency. Then pump
up the volume. Get real fat and stand in frount of the speekers, that's
your broad band. Or somthing.

You are wrong, I do need help...
Theoretically, I know this very well, I thought to use a varactor
diode for
this job, but - and here I need your (or other members)help...
I don't know how to match making between my old bugs and a varactor
diode sweeping circuit, and have no idea how to build one.
I'll be very thankful for help :)

OK guys,
Thanx meantime for your responses.
Not getting much help...:(
I know it's illegal, I know it's dangerous, and I know that I can build a
huge wall between our houses....
But, I'm still interested to build this device, for reasons that I cannot
mention here...
If anyone wants to help me, please do, but I don't like conferences about my
skills, or legal advices etc.
TIA to anyone who actually tries to help :)

This site contains some useful info:

And try alt.pirate.radio instead of alt.radio.pirate (you won't get
much help from anyone on the mainstream groups for an illegal aim like
you've publicised here, I'm afraid).

try a rotary spark generator..about as cheap as you can get..

First time around you knew it was illegal, this time around you still
know it, but you don't want to hear about it _and_ you want someone to
help you even though you've said you know it's illegal?

If I said anything to you that I should be sorry for, I'm glad.
You're not the sharpest knife in the drawer, huh, Nina?

You're only purpose in life is to serve as a warning to others against the
dangers of self-lobotomy surgery.

You should be sorry you opened your stupid fucking mouth, but as
starved as you must be for attention, even being shit on would make
you happy, no?

You might as well try to learn to punctuate, you ignorant ****,
because if that last sentence is any indication of your capacity for
wit you'll sure as hell never learn to flame.

Care to try again?

Nina,

I'm not being funny here, but have you tried asking them politely to
turn their music down? I used to have a similar problem with my
neighbours, and I found polite requests surprisingly effective. It may
be worth talking to other neighbours to see if they are also annoyed by
the load music as, obviously, the more people on your side the more
likely the noisy neighbours are to realise that they are in the wrong.

Another thing I would recommend is that you look up the appropriate
local laws. For example, here it in England it is an offence to cause a
"statutory noise nuisance", which is defined as any noise which causes
"unreasonable disturbance to the use and enjoyment of one's property".
Persistent offenders can be fined up to 5000 UKP (about $9000).

As others have said, deliberately jamming their radio could get you into
serious trouble, maybe even a few months in jail.

Gareth.

Well...
Thanx all who tried to help me in any way :)
The whole "story" is:
The main problem is the guy I'm dealing with...He is a mentally ill
guy, that has been freed from a madhouse about 3 month ago. He lives
in his 14 room yard (yes, he sleeps there too) and has conflicts with
all authorities, including police. He's arrested from time to time for
violence against his wife or children or neighbours, but released
after a few hours, as he is - as I said - insane, and the authorities
are powerless against him. He is really ill, but not stupid. He lowers
the volume between 14:00-16:00 and from 00:00 up to 06:00. Lower, not
closing...
Our windows are about 10m from his yeard, so you can imagine...
I've considered all the suggestions some of the members gave, as
others have said, jamming his radio could get me into serious
troubles, and changed my "jammer" with a 50-100mW module...It has
about the same effect.
